Born in Florence, Italy.
Postgraduated at Goldsmiths College in 2003 with an MA in Film she currently lives in London. Lari`s professional background includes graphic art and photography, however filmmaking has become an essential element of her artistic development. Her visual work mainly focuses on the different aspects related to death, anatomy and childhood. Using mixed media, she aims to create experimental films that can be regarded both as video installation and narrative short film. She has exhibited in Italy and London as photographer ('Big Sensuality' SestoSenso Gallery, Bologna, 2000) and illustrator. Her early short films (Scheinruhe, October Games) have been awarded and screened in various film festivals. "October Games "was screened at ICA, London as part of Halloween Festival in 2004 and selected for Uherské Hradit Summer Festival 2004 -in collaboration with the British Council.

In March 2005 and May 2006, she exhibited at The Old Operating Theatre Museum, London and at the Giubbe Rosse Art Cafe‘, Florence with a video piece and a series of b&w photos titled "IN LOVING MEMORY".
One of her ( work in progress) projects was shortlisted by the scheme FLAMIN (London Artists' Film and Video Awards) in 2006.
She regularly collaborates with experimental composer glynne Cicada with whom she also conceived the experimental surreal music project Dead Horse For Sale.IN THE DARK CLOSET "(2007) a photo exhibition and projection was commissioned and selected as part of the art showcase of The Human Right Nights Film Festival in Bologna. The experimental video "POST MORTEM SOUVENIR "(2008) was part of the collective show "12 Steps Down" at Shoreditch's Town Hall, London.
THE KISS HOARDER (2008) in collaboration with novelist Lana Citron (Sucker, Spilt Milk, The Brodsky Touch) showcased a series of bleak watercolors illustrations based on the eponymous short story.

After being awarded a Travel Grant by the Mütter Museum of The College of Physicians of Philadelphia in 2010 she is currently working at the post-production of the film which has been created with and inspired by their world famous pathological collection.
In June 2011 some of her photos were part of the group show Panic Exhibition at The Old Abattoir in London.
A forthcoming screening of In Loving Mmeory will be held in Ghent, Belgium, as part of Relics Od What Is It To Come Exhibition in October 2011.

Unless differently stated, the photos are handprinted and shot in 35mm. The videos are both shot in digital and film (16mm and 8mm)
